June 11, 2022 - Cloudy colour. PR sensation of musk, rose petals, tart red fruit and perfume. Palate exhibits sweet red tart fruit. The fruit is starting to fade. Drink up.

December 23, 2019 - This is the oldest Prieure Roch I have tasted and unsurprisingly Prieure Roch’s wines ages much faster than most wines at its age. This 2001 Clos des Corvees tasted like an aged Burgundy from the early 80s. Fragrant array of savoury raspberry, mature earthy note and wild flowers. Initially I thought it could be Rene Engel, but then the cloudy colour suggested natural winemaking. Prieure Roch. Good complexity but needs to be consumed sooner than later. (90/100)

January 7, 2014 - Medium brownish red in color, slightly cloudy. Lovely nose with lots of floral and herbal notes. Palate is pretty thin and slightly dry, in line with other Prieure Roch 01, need to consume sooner than later.

July 27, 2013 - This is the second Prieure Roch wine I have had..the first being Clos De Beze 01. What a disaster both of these wines were; what a shame especially Clos De Beze; I can respect the least amount of intervention possible but I need my S02..this wine was ultra cloudy, oxizided, and a sour, no fruit mess. One Sommelier called this corked but I believe this is just the style of the Domaine. Amazing these wines sell; I suppose a valiant effort but a shame to be tied to DRC. Could not finish.

February 20, 2013 - Absolutely stunning bottle of Pinot Noir! The nose is youthfull and fresh, full of sour cherry fruit, red currant and a well-done oak seasoning (in fact, the oak impression intensifies with more breathing time). Very expressive and full of flavour. On the palate, this wine is superbly elegant, with finely grained tannins, mellowness and juice, and great persistence on the finish. This wine seems to reverberate for ever, with great precision and elegance. One of the best bottles in a long time!
