June 24, 2011 - Apparently the brewery has pulled these from stores in a recall. I opened another one with date code 2/11/11. Some have talked about theirs having a strong banana character as a flaw. It was much bigger and fuller than my first go around a few months back. Kind of a basic Belgian style ale but not remarkable. There was a little bit of the banana character towards the finish. Not sure what to make of it entirely as it just didn't seem very interesting but not hugely flawed.

April 30, 2011 - There is a strong sense of the 20% wine barrel aged addition showing up on the nose. A fine note of brett seems to peak through with air, just enough to add complexity rather than overwhelming the palate. Nicely complex with a stronger sour presence than the 2010 had.
