January 5, 2019 - My last bottle of this tasty Syrah. Still showing plenty of fruit and spice. I would say it is drinking at peak. If you have them I would certainly be drinking them but do not believe there is a big rush.

February 2, 2018 - Unmistakably a syrah. Very nice, very assertive nose. All kinds of black and blue fruits. Medium body, but "yuuge" fruit produced a stellar finish. A ton of acidity, so it's great with fatty foods, not so much on its own. Minimal tannins, so I think it's time to drink up.

November 12, 2017 - Fine table wine, but classic syrah aromas (e.g., black currant) are not especially prominent.

May 22, 2017 - A pleasant surprise. Dark color, with no signs of age. Nice nose - blueberries and grilled meats. Same on the palate, along with a dash of white pepper (no mistaking it for anything else). Medium body, but still rich. Good finish. Paired very well with grilled lamb chops. Varietally correct and, at $17.55, a spectacular value. Holding up very well, but I suspect it still should be consumed within the next year or so.

October 27, 2015 - Deep purple color, slow-medium legs. Aroma of pine, cocoa nibs, grape jelly, eucalyptus, strawberries, vanilla extract. Medium-plus acidity, medium-full body, smooth and polished texture. Taste of vanilla, oak, sweet black fruit with very well balanced tannins.
