August 26, 2022 - Passive storage since release. PnP, enjoyed over 2 nights.

Advanced, not in a great way. Candied fruit and alcohol. Drinkable but and definitely good for a saucepot, but not great at this point in its life.

December 7, 2017 - Still there but definitely past prime. Would drink up any bottles you may have!

November 27, 2014 - Popped and poured. Bright red. On the nose there's lots of peppery spice and a mix of blue and red fruits. Very pretty, and with air some notes of rose and violet mix in. Great acidity and liveliness on the palate, beautifully balanced too. I think this is in a good place and may stay here for a few more years.

January 25, 2014 - Tastes like it has been macerated in clay pots. Which could be quite interesting...

  • ucbeau Does not like this wine:

November 19, 2013 - Tonight just isn't a good night for this wine. It's showing a rather shrill side, with lots of high-toned red fruit and raging acidity. Smells and tastes out of balance and harsh. There's also a bitterness on the palate that I can't get past. I have definitely had better bottles, and this might just need to sit down for another few years.
