January 26, 2019 - Quite good for the vintage. Classic notes of cherry, raspberry, good minerality. Moderate depth. Some dark fruits and some smoke on the palate. Felt this lacked the finish of a great Chambertin yet was surely enjoyable. Good but not great. Drink now or over next 5-7 years.

October 21, 2011 - Not as great a showing as my last experience with this, but still very pleasant with a core of pure red fruited flavours framed by leathery and spicy notes. Still very young with the structure and fruit suggesting there's lots of time ahead.

December 9, 2010 - Absolutely stunning. A seamless combination of fresh cherries and red berries, meat, exotic spicy notes and touches of earth and leather - it's still very young, but all the flavour and structural elements merge into a whole so flawlessly with incredible polish and elegance. There's a sense of real purity and clarity to the flavours, tremendous presence and persistence and yet barely any sense of weight as this just seems to float over the tongue. Amazing wine.

May 22, 2009 - Martin Weiner Chambertin Winetasting Dinner (Chez Weiner, Westwood, California): Light medium red color with pale meniscus; ood, ripe black fruit, smoky, berry nose; ripe, solid, cherry, berry, tart cherry and oak palate, not very interesting though; medium finish
