October 20, 2018 - Waited too long. It was an amazing wine in 2012 and I’m sure beautiful in 2015. But it’s just a little tired. The elements held up well but it lost its body and aldehyde flavors started creeping in. If you have one, drink it now.

October 27, 2015 - Very light pale yellow in color. Low acid and bit of citrus on the palate but otherwise completely lacking fruit. A very hollow mid-palate. Unfortunately, extremely assertive oak that completely dominated after 60 minutes open. I'm hoping this was just an off bottle - it was weak enough that we ordered another chardonnay of the restaurant list and kept checking back for improvement but it never came.

February 14, 2013 - Pale straw in color. Unique nose of raisin, fig, and green apple. Mouth is fresh, tart, creamy, and oaky at the same time. It is hard to justify $45 for a chardonnay, but this is very good.

July 10, 2011 - Very mellow, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Great vineyard sourced fruit of lemon and citrus. Creme brulee. 30% Beckstoffer, 30% Hyde and the rest is their fruit. Refrigerated in barrel at 45 degrees to slow the yeast down. I thought it was steel. Makes 700 cases.
