April 3, 2012 - Tried way too young but really enjoyed following an initial "what have done?!?" period. Starts thin with a dry finish, but evolves very interestingly thereafter following a double-decant. Picks up notes of anise and maple syrup on the nose. Brilliant red fruit on the palate and the dry finish smooths out; after-taste is sublime. Hands off the rest until 2015+ -- lots of potential here.
