February 25, 2013 - PnP. Clear w/some sediment in bottle of bottle. Deep dark red color. A very nice, good value wine balanced just right. Good value at $16, everyday drinker. Nothing off.

November 27, 2012 - Nose started with a snipit of floral followed by clear berry (mostly cherry). Mild mocha middle with a twist of spice that could be more the astringent tannins that actual spice. The wine improves as it opens and breathes. Vanilla can be captured more as the wine opened up (15 minutes).

February 14, 2012 - Super seductive, lures you in with the incredible nose of blackberries, keep coming back for more, great fruit, ripe, full and balanced. Voluptuous round tannins, firm and meaty, never flabby, this is great ripe syrah without being over oaked. Well worth the price point and more.

January 14, 2012 - A dark ruby wine with a nose of blackberry, vanilla and spice. Blackberry, mocha, chocolate, vanilla, spice and smoke on a long fill finish. A rich full flavored wine with lots of ripe fruit.

November 16, 2011 - Impression of drinking Kool-Aid spiked with alcohol. Popped and poured, and even after having the bottle open for a couple of hours it did not improve at all. I spilled the last glass down the sink (which I RARELY do).

No joy drinking this, ad opposed to the Cab Sauv that is just fantastic.
