February 19, 2014 - The bubbles are numerous, tiny, and streaming in seeming perpetuity from bottom to top. It is frothy on the pour and the color is clear and straw gold. The smells are honey, hazelnut, butter, flowers, and yeasty aromas. The tastes are apple, pear, lime, ginger, honey, butterscotch, toast, with light shades of salinity. The mouth feel is creamy, weighty and the acidity is zingy. The finish is lengthy and the bubbles seem to sizzle on the palate. This wine is hedonistic and offers great value.
January 26, 2014 - Light gold color throughout with good clarity and density. The aromas are honey, floral notes, nutty notes, butter, bread, ginger, and pear. The tastes are ginger, honeysuckle, pear, with some citrus fruit. The finish is lengthy, the body is full, and their is salinity in the nice round finish. I have had several bottles of this and this is my current "go-to" value Champagne. It is a bit hedonistic!
