December 10, 2021 - Dayum!
Maybe the most enjoyable bottle of wine I have had this year.
Beeswax, sandalwood, forest floor, dried flowers, cocoa(?) nose
Cherry liqueur, vanilla(!), dark fruit
Balanced tannins (whole cluster?), sappy but not sweet. Long finish of fruit, tannins and just enough sweet
Glorious bottle!!! -

July 19, 2018 - Forgot this puppy back in the cellar. wow! I'm with the previous two posters. As a 9yr Pinot it was fruit on the way out but totally integrated with a wonderful mouthfeel & finish. Foxen is one of my top 5 to purchase and great people.

October 1, 2017 - I agree with Les Kangas. This is probably my WOTY and is the closest I've had to a 100 point Pinot. It deserves much higher praise than the trending 91.2 CT score. Maybe it's in its zone, which is why the disconnect. I'm not usually one to post a score but this deserves an adjustment to the average.
