July 31, 2021 - Excellent colour and nose, still some tannin, good fruit. Ready but will keep. One of the better 2002s I’ve tried.
On the night, arguably drinking better than the 2000 tasted alongside it, which is a much finer wine but needs more time.

May 7, 2021 - A very traditionally-styled Bordeaux that's a bit bulky and clumsy but I still like it's earthy, smoky flavors. There are good flavors of dark black currants with a full, silky palate and lovely nutty aged Bordeaux flavors on the finish. Taut and barely ripe, it nevertheless works for me. I would drink this now as the fruit may be drying out a bit. 90-
