  November 21, 2012 - Belle couleur rubis, cerise moyennement foncé. Nez marqué par les cerises mûres et un boisé torréfié, légèrement un peu trop intense et dominant. En bouche par contre, l'attaque est fraîche, souple, avec des tannins fermes encore. Un corps souple et des saveurs franches et fruitées et marquées par la torréfaction. Finale courte, peut-être moyenne, axée sur le fruit et la torréfaction. Pas très complexe, assez fruité, mais un bon vin qui fait étalon du Pinot Noir en Amérique du Nord.

  August 30, 2012 - Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 4 hours; best between hours 2 and 4.
  Head to head against the ’08 Penner Ash, Willamette. Whereas the PA has not yet developed beyond a one-dimensional fruit bomb, the EH had similar good fruit density, but has also developed some secondary earthiness as well. Good nose concentration too; which makes me think that this has just started to enter into a long peak window. Will likely see its apex between 2014 – 2018.

  January 8, 2012 - En versant dans la carafe et dans le verre un film blanchâtre apparait sur le vin. Le nez est absent et en bouche on détecte du saumon fumé. Finale terriblement courte et sans fruit.

  May 12, 2011 - Sumptuous red fruit and sweet oak, medium long on the palette. Great QPR at $16.
