February 13, 2013 - Huge nose, perhaps with a touch of green in it. Big fruit with complimentary tannins. Nice weight and density too. Great with food. I think Petite Syrah is to Paso as Merlot is to Washington State, it just shines there. The finish drops off a bit quickly both in time and heft.

February 18, 2012 - Delicious and layered. Sweet concentrated figs on the nose leading to mid palate pomegranate and a nice lingering, spicy finish.
