April 16, 2016 - Last bottle and I think they've run their course with me - it was a fun ride. Believe the fruit has begun to fade and that leaves more pronounced tannin and secondary earthy, dark notes. Silky with cool mint and mocha notes. Good food wine but not as satisfying anymore on its own. More bordeaux-like at this stage.

May 6, 2015 - Fantastic bottle of wine, especially when considering its price ($50). Great structure, nice bright cherry fruit, still has a long time left to mature. Highly recommended.

December 25, 2013 - This wine has lots of dark fruit along with earth and a little leather. The flavor are nicely layered with a long finish. There are good, slightly firm, tannins though the wine is soft on the tongue.

August 30, 2013 - Very dark black red violet color; maturing, tart black currant, tart blackberry, berry nose; focused, tart black currant, berry, tart blackberry, mineral palate with firm, sweet tannins; needs 2 years; medium-plus finish (1800 foot elevation; 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) 92+ points

April 30, 2013 - This is an interesting bottle of wine as it morphed over three nights. It is both silky and reserved at times but yet can be deep, velvety and rich at others. Never big and bold but sophisticated. COmpletely balanced. Good tobacco and black fruited driven finish.
