  December 20, 2013 - Popped and poured. Ready to drink, but nothing special.

  March 16, 2012 - No formal notes. Way too young. Primary fruit with a good dose of oak and showing some heat. Fairly one-dimensional. Not bad.

  November 28, 2011 - Lots of heat on the nose, some fruit and also some oak. Fruit forward in the fore palette, sweet red berries and juicy but the tannins set in quickly and dry it out. Not bad for the price, but the astringency is an issue.

  October 24, 2011 - I smell chocolate and licorice when you get past the burn from the heavy alcohol smell it is surprisingly smooth on the way down but has a little bite on the backside I'm no expert but I believe this is the high alcohol content again I think the flavors need more time to marry but for the price not a bad bottle of wine(my wife says she likes it) I will try again in six months to see is there is any difference
