Community Tasting Notes 4

February 5, 2016 - very deep red color (no surprise, considering the name and varietals); surprised with very little nose to speak of and no front pallet, but from midpalate to the finish, lots of things going on - loads of red fruits, black pepper, hint of black olive; medium to long finish. I would have scored this much higher if the start of the wine was half of what the finish was.

January 31, 2013 - Upon opening the bottle the nose was a little harsh in the tannins were very strong. Over the course of drinking it for an hour it opened up quite nicely. We saved a few glasses and drink them the following day and this was a very nice wine. Did not blow me away but I would buy it again. Lots of complex fruit flavors

November 10, 2012 - Jammy on the nose, but surprisingly full bodied. Accessible right now.
