June 23, 2012 - Dark rusty red. Smoked stewed fruits and peaks of brett on the nose. Stewed fruit, tea leaves, chewy cherry, beefy, complex fresh and dried tobacco leaves. Weighty mid-palate, with masked fruit of smoke. Seems either closed down or on the stale side-no score. I suspect this bottle had been open for a few days, but it was not confirmed. Per prior tasting, sit on this another 6-12 months.
