  December 25, 2019 - Sensational; still a way to run on aging. Velvety mouthfeel, balanced fruit, acid, tanin and alcohol. Dark berries and dark chocolate. Decanted and let open for a good hour and more. Just fabulous.

  June 21, 2014 - Cellar Favourites: Chocolate, cola and vanilla with big florals behind. The fruit is plush and it needs to be in order to keep up with the oak. Good length. I have a high tolerance for oak but this was pushing it and a half glass was enough for my curiosity.

  May 16, 2014 - This smelled really incredibly beautiful. Perfume of flowers, wild berries, herbs. Definately complex. On the mouth, silky tannins and seductive mouth feel. We loved this and Glen Eldon winery is one to really watch. They make such a elegant and perfume wines. I have another bottle.Should get better but drinking bloody well now.

  March 5, 2014 - Plenty of oak as JHH says, but also plenty of dark fruit with a nose of sarsaparilla and cola. Great length and nicely balanced tannins. Plenty of life in it yet.
