May 17, 2014 - This was a bit of a mess. Way too hot and disjointed. Thought a bit of decant might help but after perhaps improving a bit, the nose got real funky with a leathery and almost chemical type of smell. Maybe a bad bottle. I'll blame my wife for getting talked into this one by a employee at TotalWine.

July 11, 2013 - This is big right out of the bottle. Give this a couple of hours to open up though, and it gets smooth and delicious.

March 31, 2013 - This has very pure and concentrated darker fruit. A bit of well integrated new oak accompanies this I suspect. If blind would I know where it's from? No. Would I know the varietal? Not yet. Could I resist a second glass? No way! Nice balance but darker than most. I think most new world drinkers will adore this!

November 12, 2011 - Pinot Days 2011 (Navy Pier - Chicago, IL): Big wine. Structure and backbone. Really full of cherries and flesh.
