Community Tasting Notes 2

May 20, 2011 - Tasting session with Raul Perez (Barcelona): Medium to dark cherry-brownish color. Nose primarly made of strawberries, candy. Fruity, but quite monolitic on palate at the moment, medium body. Didn't show very well, maybe due to palate fatigue. Not rated.
Ultreia la Cova de la Raposa is a new project from Raul Perez. The wine comes from 7 parcels that range from 50 to 75 years old in Bierzo. Less than 2 barrels produced.
