June 13, 2013 - Lots of wood and new world at the very start, but oh, how it blössomed. A marvellous Chardonnay that renminds us why the hype about Chardonnay begun. Still one of the best white wine experiences to have a Chardonnay from Burgundy.... oh stop, this is from Friuli, indeed....

October 24, 2011 - Medium lemon green. Nose unmistakably typical of the variety with buttery notes, quince and pear. Medium bodied palate with medium to high acidity, flavorful, elegant with flavours of butter, ripe pear, quince a whiff of tropical fruit and a long slighlty bitter aftertaste. Initially there was some CO2 which receded very quickly. Interesting Chardonnay which combines ripeness with freshness, has lots of fruit, and use of oak is very discreet and well handed.
