  September 10, 2017 - Pleasantly surprised on how well this was drinking!! Nice spice and strawberry fruit. This wine is well integrated and balanced with just enough alcohol. Have one more bottle to thoroughly enjoy!!

  December 17, 2015 - More garnet than last time. Strawberry jam, spice, and a bit of smoke on the nose. Medium to full bodied, crushed raspberries, sweet cherries, well integrated tannins, good acid, white pepper, and a deeply fruited, medium to long finish. One of the best Zins I've ever had.

  December 14, 2014 - T-day bottle to replace the Secolo. Plenty of nice fruit, not overdone, good complexity and balance, no heat; worked well with both turkey and roast.

  December 11, 2014 - Slightly transparent garnet-tinged magenta. Strawberry jam, spice, and cedar nose. Medium bodied, cranberries, pepper, bright cherries, sage, sweet tannins, a touch of tobacco, and a medium finish. Unimpressive on day 1, but much much better on day 2.
