June 15, 2014 - Dark ruby red with aromas of black fruit. It was balanced, smooth, medium dryness and on the palate it had rich dark cherries, blackberries and some spice. The finish was clean and dry.

September 1, 2013 - Rich, dark hue. Spicy and red fruit nose. On the palate, blood and iron, red and dark fruit, a longish finish. It lacks depth/complexity that leaves me wanting more. The metallic overtone is distracting, too, and the fruit isn't quite enough to offset it. I'd say I paid too much at $28...or likely waited too long.

December 5, 2012 - Black fruit aromas and favors with a little herb and spice. Full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Gets real dry on the finish. Needs food at this point.

January 16, 2012 - Very complex with levels of flavors. Dark berries, black tea, baking spices. Sweet gripping tannins. Easy to drink with a silky mouthfeel.
