    August 11, 2017 - Simple pleasing wine

June 13, 2014 - Cranberry color. Nose of eucalyptus, herbs, red fruit, stewed fruit and alcohol. (14% alcohol) Flavors of dark red fruit, black cherries, cranberries, earthy, spicy, soft tannins with a slight green pepper finish. (Enjoyed the flavors & spiciness)

March 1, 2014 - Popped and drank 30 minutes afterwards. Barnyard smell and taste. Okay fruit but not great. May have been better with decant time.

October 30, 2013 - Certainly showing the "leanness" of 07, this has nice old school astringency and sneaky length, but it's not that great now and I'm not sure if it will be better in a few years or worse.

April 25, 2013 - Nice luncheon claret. Well balanced but not terribly complex. Overall nice for the vintage but not a wine for keeping.

(Clos Canon) Bricking black-tinged dark red violet color; appealing, tart black fruit, coffee nose; rich, medium bodied, roasted black fruit, coffee palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish (100% Merlot)
