June 6, 2011 - It's been a long wait for the HAG wines, but I was thrilled to see the (birthyear) labels and open one of this up. Lovely nose with a hint of vanilla, some violets and raspberries. The palate was a touch on the light side- very elegant with just a hint of bitterness on the finish- improved with time in the glass- not a blockbuster, but a very enjoyable wine and one where the nose outstrips the palate at this stage.
