February 6, 2016 - Dark ruby. Expressive nose. Lush texture for a Savigny, ripe red and dark fruits, some minerality and complexity. Good balance. Reaching its maturity plateau and should stay there for a few years. A good value.

March 29, 2013 - Final Friday at Domaine (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): About the same as before. Straightforward pinot. Nice red fruits, nice floral notes. Didn't have that second gear.

November 16, 2012 - Young Burgundies (Browntrout - Chicago, IL): A nice blend of earth and red fruit with nice levels of minerality and forestal tones. Palate was straightforward and juicy with some spice and brown sugar notes.
