  December 8, 2023 - Bottled unfiltered in 2012. Driven cork. D+0h: only a little bit deposit in the filter and in the bottle, much less deposit than is usual, smells of blackberry and violets, cork comes out easily and intact with a butler’s friend D+14h: dark as ink, on the rim slightly purple red, smells of blackberry, raspberry, eucalyptus and violets, sweet, yet not overly sweet, smooth in the mouth, not hot/spirituous, medium body, in the mouth currant and blackberry, in the aftertaste currant and a little bit of liquorice, very good length (45 sec), good LBV.

  March 3, 2023 - Bottled unfiltered in 2012. Driven cork. D+0h: hardly any deposit in the filter, but a lot of deposit in the bottle, smells of blackberry D+11h: purple red colour, smells of eucalyptus, blackberry, blackcurrant and a little bit of dark chocolate, sweet, but not overly sweet, smooth in the mouth, medium body, not hot/spirituous, in the mouth blackcurrant, blackberry and a little bit of dark chocolate, in the aftertaste blackcurrant, dark chocolate, acidity and a little bit of liquorice, very good length (45 sec), good LBV.

  December 27, 2018 - A blast of blackberry/blueberry at first taste, followed by a bit of alcohol. Some acidity, and a long dark fruit finish. Review written at 2nd night tasting. Last bottle. A decent LBV for the price

  December 27, 2014 - Peppery, slightly herbal nose. Not very sweet. Very plummy. Blueberry syrup. A rather lean style. Quite soft. No need to age more. Better to drink now. Dryish finish. Medium length. Has a slightly rustic feel to it. Good but not too interesting or anything special.
