November 25, 2012 - This has really matured well over the last year. Guess it's peaking very soon. Red berries, licorice, soft wood spices, nice acidity and sweet fruit aftertaste.

November 3, 2011 - Has a nose of solid black cherry skins, and a distinct thin layer of rich milk chocolate aroma with a pleasant butter fat sensation in the back of the nose. On the palate, dried black cherry with vibrant acidity and pronounced, but balanced tannins. Aromatic wood notes and grilled meat on the finish. Dusty. Complete, albeit disjointed at this point.
