  October 27, 2019 - Popped and poured. No notes taken, but this was singing from the moment it was opened. Best Shane Syrah I have ever had. In an early drinking window, but why wait.

  Tobacco, earth and olive on the nose leads to deceptively bright fruit. Well integrated, fine grained tannins. Long finish. Evolving and complex throughout. Gonna be hard to wait and not open another bottle.

  May 11, 2013 - Dark, inky purple. Wonderful nose of spice and dark fruit. Lush without being a fruit bomb. Lots of dark fruits, some tobacco box and cocoa. Long finish. Went wonderfully with the braised wild boar (which some had) and the lamb tenderloin (some others had). Great wine.
