  January 8, 2017 - checking in on these again after a while - on initial pour seemed a bit disjointed - tart, thin, nose was evident but almost seemed roasted. Gave it an hour in the decanter and it started coming together, after two hours it was very nice - the fruit emerged, nose lost the roasted note, and was more solid. According to CT it should be smack in the middle of the drinking window.

  March 17, 2014 - really enjoyed this wine - deep dark purple, smooth tannins - definitely needs air, was good after two hours and really good the next day - black cherry, slightly acidic, well structured - didn't get much of a nose until day two, when an elegant anise and a touch of earthy/forest floor emerged - wonderful combination.

  January 29, 2013 - A beautiful wine with overtones of cherry,pepper and ends with a earthy pop and makes you want to scream thats how a Napa should be constructed.
