  September 8, 2016 - Performances from the Summer of 2016: So delicate, with a light body, easy mouthfeel, and perfumed nose, but at the same time, it is amply vigorous in flavor and length. Rose petals abound on the nose and the succulent mouth, where it shows a minty entry followed by rose petal and sour cherry and rhubarb pie flavors on midpalate and finish. The group drank it up and wanted more.

  October 12, 2013 - Friday Night @ Ripple (Ripple - Cleveland Park - Washington, DC): I wanted to throw in an old-school Burg into the tasting, so I picked this. Nose of green olive, truffle, on top of sour cherries and cranberries. The palate is full of snappy red fruit, mixed with olive, pickle and mushroom. I'd like to try this again in another year or two.

  January 11, 2013 - With air, nose goes from dark cherry to more spice and some stem my, astringent notes. Fairly full bodied for burgundy and a lingering tannic finish.
