Community Tasting Notes 1

December 8, 2009 - I was unable to develop an appreciation for this wine. Even tried 2 bottles. I'm pretty sure it is their style I just don't like. I swirled and swished, and swirled some more, but all I got was massive sour milk style acid. It dominates everything. The fruit is unable to shine through. It has that sweet tart flavor that I usually don't like. There is nice Merlot type color. There is some barnyard mustiness on the nose. There are some young vine style rough tannins. Not even medium bodied. Maybe this wine is young and closed. Maybe I should have decanted. It just did not work for me.
