November 27, 2013 - Short-lived nose of honey, butterscotch with hints of ripe, tropical fruits. Mineral, focused and evolved. Round but by no means flabby. Medium+ finish. Much better than expected.
October 21, 2013 - Great nose!! Big butterscotch, vanilla and honey nose. But, it faded quickly. Similar flavors, but again faded quickly. Became a bit oxidized. Past it's prime. Drink ASAP.
May 29, 2012 - 1er Cru Puligny & Chassagne Montrachet 2004-1995, with Richard Brazier (Handford Wines, London): Fruit,light mineral, “fullish” nose. Light exotic notes. Good ripeness, well evolved, round wine. Med weight on mid palate , quite long and evolved. Very enjoyable. Fresh and young for a 1999. Good life ahead. 92-93
October 13, 2007 - Wine dinner at Think (Think Cafe): Full yellow color. Medium nose of mineral, licorice, and yellow fruit. Nice round rich mineral yellow fruit with just a hint of butterscotch.
December 27, 2006 - Medium golden yellow. Distinctly honeyed nose, brioche and floral notes. Plenty of honey on the palate too, floral notes, traces of creamy oak, decent acidity and very long finish with nutty notes at the tail end. Taut, with good complexity, although perhaps lacking a little generosity and charm.
February 24, 2006 - Chardonnay. Mid colour. Slightly chalky nose. Clean but fuller bodied than it seems. Lacks the favour profile at the moment though, needs time and air. Food wine. Single varietals Offline, RJs London
November 2, 2003 - Tasted at the home of Amy Weinberg, who provided the bottle. Bright disc. Light straw robe with clear rim. Clean nose, showing very intense aromas of honeysuckle, pears and minerals. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and similar flavors as for the nose. Long, smooth finish.
