January 30, 2022 - Perfect! As always a super Douro wine.

December 10, 2018 - Maybe moderately less cooked than my 2007 bottle but still a bit more raisinated when I would have hoped. I know both of these bottles were not stored in very good conditions and both likely are showing heat damage. Lots of notes of prune, raisin, dried cherry, tomato compote, leather, wet wood, earth, musk, It finishes nicely with floral notes and black tea, which is what I would really expect from a classy Douro blend.

Adorei!!!
    Ficou 10 com bacalhau assado.

July 25, 2016 - A big wine. Don't underestimate the dark black fruits, chocolate and the slightly tabacco nose. The flavours are consuming but sultry. An interesting wine with many personalities. Great with a Moroccan tagine which I found a bit odd

July 22, 2015 - Deep dark and brooding. Quite tannic immediately. Very restrained controlled fruit and wood notes. Quite tart with high acidity with a little orange peel.

1 - 5 of 10 More notes
