Community Tasting Notes 9

March 19, 2016 - Good deep purple red color with a bit brown hue. Earthy, leathery, mushroom with a bit truffle notes dominate nose. Fruit core is weak now which make acidity and tannin more outspoken. So I would recommend decant to bring down structure to make it more balanced. Should last no more than 5 years

    February 28, 2016 - Peaked. Drink now.

July 14, 2010 - Nice Bordeaux. Smooth finish, tannins and fruits have faded but still good balance and structure. Enjoyed this wine.

November 17, 2008 - Fruit seems to be fading; should have caught this earlier. Also possible that I should have decanted it for a while, though it seems unlikely given the vintner and the appellation.
