Aromas of warm berries, sour candy, and lots of floral notes.
Silky smooth red and sour cherry fruit is mixed with light earth and minerals. Acidity provides lift and freshness that hides it’s 17+ years of age as there is no signs of oxidation. Finish is long, creamy, and clean with no astringency showcasing more red fruit and light earth.
In the mature zone as tannins are fully integrated, however, it doesn’t seem tired at all and should hold up well for many more years. Drink 2020 - 2024. -

October 12, 2018 - Compared to my 12/2015 review, this wine has become mature and wonderful. Not as "young" tasting now.

March 23, 2018 - Tart red cherry, earth, spice. Considering 2002 was supposedly a mediocre vintage for Priorat this is pretty killer juice. Great QPR. Held the fruit and aged well.

January 15, 2018 - Deep purple. Really nice combination of tart red fruits, earth, licorice, spicy notes, huge, and has taken on even better balance and depth. Finishes with lots of fresh ripe cherry juice. Great QPR. Really nice Priorat with lots of interesting flavors, funkiness under control and fun to drink
