November 19, 2016 - Pale gold. Nose mildly honeyed and chalky. Oak is perfectly integrated. Refreshing and tangy. Wonderful to drink now.

June 24, 2015 - Plush vanilla and tart pear on the nose. Lots of air brings out a floral and citrus character that the vanilla hides; I wish the roles were reversed here. The flavors pierce through the muddle a bit, even as they remain over-wooded; a series of unripe fruits and minerals are very interesting here.
Less wood, and I'd be much happier with this wine. Paired with sautéed shrimp on grilled toast with aioli, poached egg, and asparagus. -

Nez minérale, petits galet, fleurs blanches, miel, euchalyptus.
En bouche, ample et gras avec une touche d'acidité, petits cailloux, miel.
Bonne longueur. Très intéressant.
