  September 14, 2013 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale garnet colour. The nose is clean and developing, with medium- subtle aromas of ripe red cherries, fresh strawberries, tomato, dried figs and mushroom. It's dry in the mouth with medium acidity, medium coarse tannins, medium+ alcohol, medium body and medium- intensity flavours of ripe cherries, tomato, dried figs and mushrooms. Medium- finish. It's an acceptable quality wine, it comes out rather thin and diluted, lacking aromatic complexity and elegance, being barely recognisible as Pinot Noir, and somewhat unbalanced in the mouth with the alcohol being too noticeable. Anyway it's has the required minimum of fruit and balance to be drinkable. Best drunk now, but it could develop a bit more of complexity in the next 1-2 years, and it could be kept for another 1-2 years.

  August 8, 2013 - Opens as a typical Oregon pinot of earthy raspberries; a crazy motor oil blended with strawberries in the mouth; little finish. glad we only have one of these.
