March 19, 2010 - One-hour decant. Nothing special. The nose is very sweet (mostly ripe cain fruit), with a little cinnamon on the finish. The palate is also very sweet, and soft, with a little backbone (but not enough to cut through the ripe fruit). A fair amount of vanillin (oak). The finish is good length, but soft, and a little ragged. Possibly just starting to make it's way down the hill. A little more loosy- goosey than I like, but technically a fundamentally sound bottle.

May 30, 2009 - Uncorked but unable to drink , this bottle sat in the fridge for three nights. However, the results were exceptional. A soft medium bodied wine with dusty tannins, sweet cherry and tobacco notes and a long pleasing finish.

August 26, 2007 - pretty good. its ok. fruit not too fragrant. does not last long. has a lengthy finish, but the body is weak. overall it is a nice quality lighter body Bordeaux blend. 87.

January 7, 2007 - Drank with Phil over Roquefort and persimmons. A very mellow, well-tempered blend— I'm guessing mostly merlot. A subtle, elusive but warm nose, understated fruit and a pleasant, well-balanced finish with a hint of tannins. Phil described it as very smooth. Overall, not very flavorful, however— I'm a sucker for big fruit in a Napa red, and it wasn't there.
