  May 20, 2015 - MASTER ESAGONALE FRANCIA; 1/14/2015-7/30/2015 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Degustato alla cieca. Zolfo, crosta di pane e zest di limone. Ha bisogno di tanta aria, è ancora fuligginoso e leggermente tostato, quasi torrefatto.
  La bocca è piena, untuosa e accompagnata dalla materia boisé, che non è mai sopra le righe. Mineralità calcarea tra il tannico e il salino che amplifica la dinamica e la persistenza è di grande impatto.
  Non molto sfaccettato, ma sostanzioso e ben fatto.
  Da attendere alcuni anni.

  December 27, 2014 - Compared to my first review around Oct '14, this bottle was just way better: no signs of oxydation but instead a very elegant wine that I guess is at the top of its age. Very long. What a pleasure
  It smells like apple and grapefruit. Nicely buttery. It tastes like acacia, mineral and pineapple.

  November 22, 2013 - Toasty with citrus and discretely funky on the nose on opening. Oily texture yet counterbalanced by good acidity with a creamy finish from the oak. As it opens up the mineral, stony character shows. Was perfect with a vegetable minestrone soup which helped highlight the sweet, richness of the wine. Probably worth waiting a couple more years.
