October 5, 2019 - 3rd Annual Gentlemens Dinner (Villa Ekenhov): Had two bottles of this. One was fantastic, the other a bit tired. Note is for the good bottle.

Nose of litchie, yellow and green apples, lime and chalk. With time flowers, vanilla, light wax and butter. On the palate very energetic and playfull but with good depth and detail. Just hints of maturity, mostly evident as emerging complexity. Several layers to be explored. Good lengt with super fresh acidity, more litchie, chalk and iron. Very, very good.

September 26, 2019 - Adieu Domaine Dublère Dinner (Monnie Burke's): In 09/10/11 vertical. Rich and ripe with clear Grand Cru density, but slightly lacking brightness and energy. Drink up.

September 8, 2017 - Chicago Wine Flock...Burgundy Al Asks "Is it Grand Cru?" (My home - Chicago IL): Served blind to the group in 2009 CC flight. Plenty of orchard fruit start-to-finish with subtle spice and VG concentration. Very elegant and energetic, those of us preferring a more classic, leaner style really liked this wine. Better than another bottle from the same case opened last summer.

November 12, 2016 - Once again this showed with more structure than a typical 2009. But this time there was a lick of tropical fruit on the wine that I did not detect a few years back. The fruit is abundant and rich. Overall quite enjoyable with a coho salmon dish while dining out in Seattle with friends.

July 28, 2016 - Corton-Charlemagne at the Lieu-dit Cru Annual(ish) Blind White Dinner (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Served blind in flight. Ripe apple with moderate density and concentration. Moderate energy. I haven't had this wine since shortly after release, and didn't find it as intense today as it was earlier. I initially thought this was the 2011.
