February 19, 2023 - 5/12, very good cork. Decanted 1/2 hr.
Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Initially quite evolved this seemed to become more fruity with time in glass eventually showing strawberry and a touch of plum, truffle, soil and also a twist of aniseed. Medium bodied on the palate, strawberry fruited, aniseed again, a touch of savour with a firm but fine tannic backbone, fresh/vibrant acids and a good length finish.
