October 1, 2015 - 2007 vintage is getting better as the years go by. When opening it needs to decant for at least one hour, two is better!
Dark stone fruit, slight smoke, leather on the nose. Great expression of old world style chianti on the palate. Soft up front with firm tannin finish. This will just get better with age! -

October 26, 2014 - Nose: There is a distinct dark berry undercurrent to the nose with some leather, tobacco, dark red fruits, and dark red cherries.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and silky tannins. The feel is polished with leather, dark red fruits, dark red cherries, and some herb tones.
Overall: This is on the younger side. The structure is showing, but there is a lot to like for the future. -
