May 4, 2013 - Yellowish and Brassy colour with some tearing. Smell of flowers and citrusy. Dill-ish taste. okay but not getting better. Fading

November 24, 2011 - Colour reminiscent of thin limoncello and with good layering/viscosity. Aroma citrusy with small hints of grassyness. Taste is pleasant, medium dry with a fair level of acidity without being tart - the bouquet is pleasant and reveals a few nuances of petroleum and lime. A very good wine with at least another 5 years - drink until 2016.

May 15, 2009 - straw colour with pale gold emerging, bright & clear.

Attractive yet restrained nose of honey, nuts and a touch of lemon.

On the palate, again quite restrained, with honey & spice and as with the nose, supportive lemon/lime. The acidity is balanced, not assertive. Reasonable length and complexity on the finish, but not earth-shattering in either. Texturally it's got reasonable body that builds somewhat in the mouth - perhaps suggesting it will open up more as it warms from ~ 12C on opening.

It's good, very enjoyable and a pleasure to drink, but perhaps not as exciting as I've found it in the past. That's a small quibble though - it's a fine example of Alsace riesling.
