September 11, 2015 - Wonderful nose with tropical sweetness, crushed stones, lime and minerality. Well balanced. Soft, round acidity on the palate, lime and pineapple, medium long aftertaste.

April 28, 2014 - Sometimes, all you need is some sun, a balcony and a good glass of a Riesling kabinett. Karthäuserhofberg has all the classic markers; limey melons crushed by stone, a sweetness balanced by lovely acidity and just a touch of herbs. This is outstanding stuff, grown-up candy that the relatively low alcohol allows to take big sips of till the glass is empty.

February 4, 2013 - Pineapple, pear, elderflower, citrus fruits (mostly lime) and minerals on the nose. Pretty the same on the palate but the minerals are more clearly. Good balance between the sweetness and the acid. I hope I get to enjoy this in a few years.

September 1, 2012 - Youthful nose with pineapple, citrus blossom, limestone minerals with some gunpowder. On palate nice limestone minerals with slate tones, pineapple broth, citrus blossom, good acidity supporting balanced residual sweetness, light- to medium-bodied and quite good length. Young but already very drinkable.
