September 2, 2023 - Very yellow color and quite muted smell and taste. Decanted for an hour - wine opened up but remained below expectation. Prefer Hubacker 2010 and Abtserde 2010.

August 29, 2021 - not blind
In very shape, still not reached his peak but saline, some discreet yellow stony notes. Fine, great concentration, no aging signs. For the next decade at least. 94-95 -

July 24, 2020 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2010 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): *** brief impression from tasting event, no detailed tasting note ***
Glass: Gabriel Standard and Sophienwald Bordeaux
Bottle opened at noon, double decanted. Drunk about 8-10h later.
Clear, pale golden color. Ripe yellow fruit, candied pineapple in the nose.! Bone dry, perfect high and surprisingly ripe acidity. Almost never ending pressure and depth. Quite lean, never fat or bold. Ripe stone fruit, some smokiness, very precise and elegant. Young. Great potential! 95-96+ My WOTN -

April 14, 2018 - Riesling SWAG 2018 (Restaurant Vlet, Hamburg, Germany): I had the chance to taste this wine twice that evening. First time from Mag. directly from the estate which was brutally young and a second (normal) bottle (thanks Christian!) which shows a bit more. Yellow ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, herbal aromas and some spices on the elegant nose. Very, very dry on the palate, the acidity is so well integrated but also vibrant (so typical for the very best 2010s) and carries the wine into the long, super fresh, stone and sea salt driven finish. Although it definitely had the Morstein power and punch, KP knew to wrap it into a very elegant way. Maybe the wine with the highest upside potential I tasted this evening. And I gladly say it again: Give the Keller wines time. They really need it. A true star in the making. 95++

April 14, 2018 - Riesling SWAG 2018 (Restaurant Vlet, Hamburg / Speicherstadt): Pale golden color. Ripe yellow fruit, candied pineapple in the nose. This is a stunner in the making! Bone dry, perfect high and surprisingly ripe acidity. Driven by mineral notes, not by fruit. Lean, precise and elegant, but with a velvet punch. Let it develop for 3-5 more years and you will be highly rewarded. 93-94+++
