Community Tasting Notes 8

  • Patrik H Likes this wine: 90 points

January 14, 2017 - On the nose: Yellow apples, cellar, mineral
On the palate: A mixture of citrus and green apple with a fine balance. A tone of butter and mineral.
    Medium + finish

July 5, 2014 - Lots and lots of fruit, fresh lemony apple tartness and tropical sweetness in good balance, quite some body on this. Drinking well right now.

  • AndersHed Does not like this wine: 85 points

June 10, 2014 - 10an differs markedly from previous vintages.( I drank, 07, 09 ). Not much in the aroma. The taste is dominated by, at best, a little lemon fruit. Otherwise the wine feels very thin in the fruit. Whistling high acidity dominates, and is there any sweetness in the wine so it definitely does not. In the aftertaste is no nice rocky minerality that I found in previous vintages. With more air, the wine becomes slightly fatter and develop a slightly oxidized tone. Very disappointed at this. I'll try a 11a soon too, hope it is significantly better. Reading previous scores I hope there was something wrong with this bottle. Two more to go..
