November 11, 2014 - Figured i would crack this as getting on in age - holding fine. Not a huge fan of the level of woodsy oak, but tasty and complex. Needs food. This product line is solid and i have enjoyed all the other varietals and putting away the latest vintage of the Carm...

June 24, 2011 - Very hearty wine - great with grilled meat and the like - good caveman food! Fair hit of oaky vanilla on nose with lots of floral berry notes and some caramel coffee - enjoyed just sniffing and swirling!
Palate is full, moderate level of acid, but lighter and smoother tannins. A chewy quality. Nice overall - but i think needs time in bottle to mellow - for sure let this "decant" for a solid 30-60 mins.
