February 5, 2020 - This bottle showed at least as well as a previous bottle some months ago. This one may have had just a bit more depth on the palate and the tannins were less drying. Open for about 3 hours, corked and returned to the cellar. About 4 hours later, it had pretty much fallen apart

August 18, 2019 - I thought this a very good showing for this wine. The nose was expressive from the get-go and remained so through the evening. Nice, subtle aged pinot flavors, good balance, perhaps a bit drying on the finish. 92-93ish

May 6, 2018 - about an hour and half decant, elegant nose out of the gate, when finally tasting was a bit let down as the fruit is basically turned into tertiary elements, a little drying but overall very nice food wine, glad to have more but don't believe there's more upside. Totally resolved tannins and still great balance, just a bit shy of sweeter fruit residue.

January 1, 2018 - Very nice. A bit subdued on the nose but very tasty palate. A touch of sweetness with dark red gevrey cherries.

May 8, 2017 - This bottle presents as fully mature. Colour, smell, but most of all taste. It's also delicious, the mature fruit lifted by the ripe and fully resolved tannins. It's a food wine with excellent length (when allowed some air.) I am guessing it could be downhill from here, but in any case, why would I want to wait? dg
