Community Tasting Notes 1

September 16, 2011 - Minerals, honey and plenty of ripe citrus characterize the wine's very assertive and intense aromatic profile. There's impressive depth and ripeness here, probably at the limit for a true spàtlese. On the palate this offers ripe apricot and explosive citrus flavours with grapefruit on the front. A fair amount of residual sugar is taken over by a spectacularly vibrant acidic that brings ripe grapefruit to mind. You wouldn't want to take your palate off he glass. Rebuy: yes.
